A very important process in ensuring the success of a healthcare practice is that of payment collections for services provided.
The specifics of what must be in this process is sometimes not prioritized and misunderstood. This causes a practice to allow
the patient due debt to get out of hand over an extended period of time and in many cases to become uncollectable.
A healthcare practice is a business! And just like in any business, the collections process must be a high priority process
if the business is going to be successful.
In this presentation, some suggestions on the collection process in healthcare are presented and discussed.
